Fast, Easy Loading & Unloading With Box Magazine Conversion Systems

Accuracy International 10 round magazines for the AI AE rifle and AI Chassis Systems. Also fits other chassis and bottom metal that are compatible with AICS magazines. Manufactured from steel with special coatings for durability and corrosion resistance. Spring and follower is removable for cleaning. Made to work with 308/7.62mm cartridges but can work with similar cartridges like 6.5mm Creedmoor.

SPECS: Steel, blued, matte finish. Polymer follower. 5-round capacity. Fits Badger Ordnance short action M5 detachable magazine triggerguard in for .308.

Disappointing Quality for High Cost (02.01.2016)

Very, very disappointed. Expected a flawless, high-quality product from such an illustrious name. Out of the bags, mags did not feed. Sharp corners at back of feed lips stopped cartridges from feeding. Sharp edges on feed lips left deep scratches on loaded rounds. After several hours breaking sharp edges and corners with a rubber cratex wheel and polishing feed lips with a felt bob and polishing compound, got them to work ~95%. Should not have to invest a bunch of time tweaking expensive mags to get them to run. Would NOT recommendâ¦ WOULD recommend Magpulâs 10-rounders, which feed rounds like greased jellybeans right out of the factory packaging â at half the price.

Great for Ruger Precision Rifle (19.11.2016)

I bought this mag for my RPR in 6.5 Creedmoor.

It works like a magazine should.

I seat my 130 and 140 grain bullets 0.015" from the lands to get the most accuracy I can, naturally you can't do that with a plastic mag.

One negative issue is that the lips of the mag scratched the brass pretty heavily, so I deburred the lips and polished the edges - problem fixed, and that made loading the mag a little easier.

After such good results from this mag, I bought the 5 shot model today.

I will deburr and polish the same area when I receive it.

The other posting I read describes exactly what I experienced with the other "Accurate" mag.

Did not fit RPR 6.5 Creedmore (27.04.2017)

Bought this for my RPR 6.5 Creedmore (1st generation). The magazine simply did not fit inside the mag well. It otherwise seemed very well constructed, was able to be loaded with 10 rounds easily and would take cartridges of OAL to 2.880 in. Likely 5 stars if it had fit.

Smooth (03.07.2013)

I had a different make of BDM on my Rem 700 SPS Tactical and it work but felt rough loading a round. I just got a XLR chassis that use the AICS magazine now loading a round is so much smoother some time I have to check to see if I had loaded a round.

AI mags work smoothly (01.10.2013)

I have to agree, these magazines are so smooth that I have to check to see if it picked up a round. I have used these in Remington 700 and Kelbly Atlas actions with both Stiller and Surgeon bottom metal. AI mags are easy to disassemble for cleaning. They function very well. It would be nice if they were offered with a more durable finish such as Cerakote. BDM with these magazines will make your bolt action rifle run. Like comparing an auto pistol to a revolver.

I bought one a couple of years ago for an Aurora Tactical .308. Decided to get another. Works great with this rifle.
