Paid extra for two day shipping for this "low profile" block so I could finish my AR in time, but this clamp on style was to tall on the bottom and hit on my BCM KMR hand guard. VERY irritating paying extra to get it then paying to send it back for a part that was suppose to be low profile.

While building a DPMS pattern .308, a local gun smith recommended SADLAK Industries when I told him I was having a bit of trouble finding a good gas block for a .875 barrel. I ordered the .875 ( GB-150 ) low profile and it fits perfectly. Now the package says .8753 > .8758 but I mic'd .8750 and my CRITERION BARRELS INC - 308 AR STAINLESS STEEL BARREL mic'd .8740. Seeing how a regular piece of printer paper is .0040 thick and grocery store receipt paper is .0020. This fit is .0010 or LESS. I'm sure the phosphate style finish accounts for a bit.

This item fits like a glove and is high quality. Installed on a SW Midlength melonite 5R barrel. Snug perfect fit. Covers 100% of surface that the regular sight tower once covered leaving no unfinished metal. Gas roll pin hole is tight.

it looks good but its a peace of junk. bought this to put on a 50 Beo Wulf and it want even start on the gas block fit on the barrel.my Barrel is right on.875 and the ID of this gas block is .870 that is very poor QC in my book.this thing is good for nothing. maybe a paper weight.but it ant heavy enough for that.

Fits perfectly and completely covers notches machined into barrel for the sight tower taper pins. Looks great on Stainless barrel, too.

Been using Sadlak Low Pro gas blocks for a long time, so when I needed one for the .625 profile, this was the one I ordered. Fit was tight on my Brownells barrel, so it needed a bit of fitting to get the perfect fit. About 5 minutes of sanding and test fitting and it was good to go!

Out of spec. only .745 inside diameter won't fit the brownells .750 barrel.

I prefer clamp blocks when pinning is not convenient and while I really like the Geiselle pinable block this one is slimmer and causes less issues with skinny free float handguards. I have had zero issues with screws stripping and recommend this over any set screw block (which I would never use without dimpling)

Sadlak makes some good quality parts, Unfortunately this gas block has some flaws. Like others have said the inner diameter is a few thousands of an inch too small. I don't think the engineers or machinest remembered to account for the buildup from the parkerizing. I had to take some red scotchbrite attached to a rod and chucked into a drill to quickly remove the coating before it slipped onto my bead blasted stainless barrel. If I had a coated barrel I'm not sure if it would even fit. I didn't have any issues with the roll pin hole however. The pin went on nice and easy. Overall I'll give it 4 starts because it worked for my application.

Fit and finish were excellent. Dimensional tolerances were exact. Installation was simple with perfect alignment of gas tube / roll pin and perfect barrel fit. A quality part that will go on future builds.

I have used many of these and each one was great. Nice fit, easy to install, looks good, and it works.

It wouldn't fit on my AR-Stoner barrel. I should have spent a little more and bought a YHM low profile gas glock instead.

I gave this gas block a 5 star because, for the price you will not find anything better. Fit like a glove on my AR-Stoner barrel. The only little problem I had was once again Brownells shipped me a product missing the rowpin. Not a real problem I just used one from an old gas block that I had. Just really disapointed with Brownells QC.

Ordered this gas block for an AR build. When I received it it looked awesome and I couldn't wait to install. When I went to install the gas tube I found like a customer in another review the roll pin hole was off center on one side. This was very slightly off and just by looking you could not see it. Tried to remove the roll pin and ended up breaking one and bending two of the Brownells roll pin punches. If your going to purchase this check the alignment before installing the roll pin. Other than the roll pin issue fit and finish seem to be very good.

This gas block is cheap...that's the best thing about it. The downside is that the hole for the gas tube roll pin is off center from the hole for the tube itself. This makes it impossible to install the roll pin through the gas block, through the gas tube, and then through the other side of the gas block. I had to enlarge the hole to make the gas block useable. That is not a proper fix though, and the only reason I'm using the gas block at all is because it's installed on a range gun and not one that I intend to depend on.

I specifically ordered this gas block to review for my blog fans and followers. Prior to ordering this gas block, I had already ordered two of Sadlak's Clamp-On style .750 low-pro gas blocks and use them on two of my rifles. When I started building my beater rifle, I decided to go with their simpler slip on low-pro gas block.

Since I was building a beater rifle, I did not care if the set screws marked or scratch my phosphate barrel. So I ordered the gas block and when it arrived, it was exactly as described. It had a very good finish and the machining appeared to be done very well. It came with two small Allen stylke set screws found at the bottom of the block.

It slipped effortlessly onto the barrel of my rifle, but was still tight enough that it fit very well. Once I got it lined up, I tightened the set screws and even added a little Blue Loc-Tite to make it extra secure. The roll pin hole lined up perfectly with my gas tube and the roll pin installed just as easy as the block itself.

After installing the gas block, I slipped on my Yankee Hill Diamond Series Free-Float Quad Rail. The gas block had plenty of clearance under the rail and gave it a very discreet look. You could barely notice the gas block once the rail was installed.

All in all, I was very satisfied with this gas block. I would have liked for the set screws to be a little more heavy duty, but they worked well. If you are looking for a gas block that will not take away from the look of your rifle, let me suggest this one. Another excellent product from Sadlak Industries LLC.!!!

I specifically ordered this gas block to use when I was building my VLTOR Short Barreled Rifle. I was looking for a low-profile gas block that clamped on versus screwing down onto the barrel.

The reason why is because my 7.5" Barrel was a match stainless barrel and I did not want to mark or scratch my barrel with Allen screws as are found on most low-pro gas blocks.

I have used several Sadlak Industries products, especially for my M1A Socom II. I have always loved the quality and high attention to detail offered by Sadlak LLC. So I decided to give it a shot and ordered it for my AR-15.

Once it arrived I couldn't have been happier and it was a lot heavier and beefier than I imagined it would be. The Allen screws were thick and a bit larger than normal screws found on gas blocks. I also loved the fact that the clamp style cut was done at an angel versus straight up and down.

As advertised, the low pro gas block fit easily on my barrel and was easy to install. It literally took me about 5 minutes to install. I did use a small bit of blue Loc-Tite when tightening the screws just for a little bit of re-assurance. After clamping the gas block on my barrel, it fit perfectly under my VLTOR CAS-V handguard and gave my rifle an awesome look.

This was my first experience with an AR-15 type product from Sadlak. I liked it so much that I ended up ordering another and using on one of my other rifles. This gas block now has well over 2k rounds through it with no issues, malfunctions and has not lost its grip with my barrel.

Overall I was very happy with this gas block and will continue to use Sadlak LLC.'s products for both my M1A's and my AR-15s. Get one, you will love it!

Well machined, phosphate finish is solid. Fit over .750 barrel in an easy, but tight fit. Held in place by two set screws. Bought to place under a mid-free float Yankee Hill quad rail. Fit under handguard with good clearance. A solid low profile gas block for a reasonable price.
