When taking precise shots over long distances at targets located at high or low elevations, a altered point of impact must be taken into account due to the deviating bullet trajectory. Angle Cosine Indicators (ACI / SWK) enable the calculation of the required trajectory compensation.
The bubble level helps the shooter avoid weapon canting errors. Our ERATAC® mount with Angle Cosine Indicator and bubble level can be easily and compactly retrofitted via the UNIVERSAL interface. The position of the riflescope does not need to be altered. Even riflescopes with a very short center tube, such as the S and B PMII, can be easily equipped with these tools that are indispensable for every sniper. The position of the ACI is chosen so that it can still be read on aiming optics with a left-side illumination unit when the weapon is already in position. Its vertical position at the level of the riflescope's optical axis virtually eliminates parallax errors, allowing the scale to be read in its entirety.
The Mil-Spec version is waterproof up to 35 minutes at a water depth of 1 meter. Due to the lateral offset of the bubble level, the view of the elevation turret remains unobstructed.
