Direct replacements for factory sights on popular handguns gather ambient light for superb visibility. The more light, the brighter the rods glow. 3-dot sight picture; front sight has red insert, rear has two green inserts. The Fire Sights for guns originally equipped with fixed sights are also fixed. If the gun was originally equipped with an adjustable rear sight, the Fire Sight will be adjustable.

Too high (29.03.2014)

These sights are too high. I installed these on my Ruger SR9 and now it does not fit in 2 of my 3 holsters.

A Sight for Sore Eyes (27.12.2011)

I purchased these to put on my own MKIII which gave it a much finer sight picture. I feel I am much more accurate because of these sights and my son loves to shoot this gun because of them. I liked them so much I bought a set for my father for Christmas for his MkIII 22/45. It improved his accuracy as well. I would recommend these to anyone wanting to improve on the stock iron sights.

Great sights! (04.03.2012)

Excellent sights, great improvement over the stock sights. Simple to install, no problems whatsoever; front sight fits the barrel perfectly, rear sight drops right into the standard rear ramp. Especially helpful under low-light conditions but better than the standard sights under any conditions. Highly recommended!

Fit my Mark I (15.06.2012)

After much email with Brownells about whether this Firesight would fit my Mark I, I finally just ordered it and not only did it fit, but it took longer to remove the old sights then to install the new ones, minutes. Original Mark I bull barrell sights are 1/8" wide and blaok which I painted years ago, and shot well. Now I am 61, LOVE Firesights on my .44 magnum Redhawk, and I love these too. Now to the range to adjust and enjoy shooting with sights I can see.

Easy to install (27.06.2012)

Easy to see and easy to install. They should be the factory sights. They are not a target sight that will be extremely precise but they are great for the recreational shooter.

Perfect for my Ruger Mark II (28.09.2012)

These sights are perfect for my RUGER MARK II (Government Target Model). They were quick and easy to install and fit perfectly, well engineered. Looking forward to many night/day shooting trips.

Requires Drilling of Rear Site on MKIII (26.02.2013)

After reading numerous reviews I decided to purchase the Williams gun sight for my Ruger MKIII 22/45 Target. All reviews I read stated these sites were easy to pop in, basically just plug n play. This is incorrect for the 22/45. The rear site sits in a base which needs to be swapped out in order to install the new site. On the 22/45 the only way to remove the site from the base is to drill it out. I called Ruger and confirmed that the back end of the rear site has a cross pin and they recommend professional installation to swap out the site. I was able to do it myself by drilling out the cross pin and then creating a makeshift pin that keeps the back end in place. I used glue to keep the cross pin from falling out and if I like the sites I may use a more permanent solution. The sites look nice on the Ruger and I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet but because I'm annoyed that this site and even the Williams website itself does not say anything about having to drill out the existing site I'm giving this product an overall rating of three stars.

Fell Apart In Less Than 30 Days (09.05.2013)

I was thrilled with these when I installed them on my Ruger MarkIII. They are 'Decent' quality materials (better than the original Ruger sights but still lacking for the money paid for them). Their ability to allow you to obtain a target far surpasses the original sights... my problem is that today, the tube in the front sight came out at the range! That is only after about 200 rounds being put through this gun with the new sights. Keep in mind this is a .22LR - so recoil should have little effect on that happening. I don't know how they fasten it in there to begin with, but I had to use a little super glue and hope that does not mess anything up in the future. Consider this when buying... I am still glad to have them, as I said, they beat the original sights. Just disappointed this happened & speaks to the quality of their manufacturing process and or quality control. They are still the best thing I could find (I wanted TFO sights) and I prefer them over the originals even with this fault.

Nothing better for fixed sights on mk. (30.08.2014)

This set of sights are the best and least expensive I have used on my ruger mk pistols. I now have them on 3 of my mk pistols and they are wonderful. Your fine adjustments are easily accurized at the rear and they go on in a matter of minutes. No tools other than a fine punch and lite hammer, flathead driver with some blue loctite, and some ammo to set up and range them. These are the greatest vis sights so far, they are higher quality than the other brands offered for the rimfire guns and they last through debris and dirt and bit of a beating too. Great investment. Would buy more if I had more rimfires to put them on!

Fit & works perfectly on Mark II Target (06.04.2016)

The was a super easy install and I don't know much about this stuff. It was harder to field strip this thing, than put these on. It fits right on, just like the original sights. Makes target acquisition much easier. Looks great and works perfectly, just make sure you order the correct part #. Great improvement to my little Mark II Target BBL, along with Houge Grips and extended bolt catch.
