4 round stipper(28.02.2010)
Got it for speedy reloads when competing. Nice fit on the belt, that's why I chose the 4 round over the 6. It comes ready for 3" shells and has two supplied spacers that suppose to act like shims for 2 3/4" shells. Only one is needed for slugs as they're a little longer due to the crimp style. But when buckshot is loaded there is a little slop. If you use both spacers then the slugs will no longer fit. So a compromise is to use only one shim. To bad they shorted me the Velcro coins that should have been included.
4 shell stripper(04.03.2010)
I chose the 4 shell as it's easier to hold just four shells instead of six. Came with two spacer shims to be able to hold 70mm shells. You only need one space for this purpose. Fastened with the supplied Velcro coins which were missing from the package:-(.. Ended up gluing the shims. They're well built and make for speedy reloads when competing or hunting.
Good choice for IPSC(28.07.2010)
I use speed strippers on IPSC competitions. They allow me to load my shotgun very fast. A lot of my friends use them too. Didn't have any problems with speed strippers. Very good product.
Good product for competition shooting(12.01.2011)
Works well in Practical shooting. Capacity of four definitely the correct size for me, as four rounds is the maximum I can hold in my hand while feeding my gun. Comes with two spacers to adjust the stripper for different length of cartridges. You have to use both spacers with extra short rounds like S&B Practical Sport. With one spacer extra short rounds can fall off. This also means that the stripper doesn't cope well with mixed length rounds.
Few downsides though: - Rattles which prevents hunting usage - If the stripper is not packed full, remaining round(s) may fall off while moving. This limits tactical usage, if there's a need to feed only one, two or three rounds into the gun.
All in all a simple, rugged and very good product.
Does the job(23.04.2011)
I just tested it out today going through a case of shell and a case of skeets. It comes ready for 3", but I used on of the supplied shims to use it for 2 3/4" target loads. It does the job. I didn't find much of a noise issue. The only con for this item is after using the velcro disks for the shim, i found if i removed the shim to go from 2 3/4 back to 3" I found the 3's would catch the velcro disks.

Great product multiple uses(07.05.2012)
I've bought a number of these type speed loaders but use these on my rig. The new 3x3 and 4x4 style save overall room on your belt but I've stuck with these for the main reason that my AR 556 mags will also fit. I don't think they were designed for this purpose but for three gun it great to be able to just use the one set and no longer switch belts when going from, shotgun to rifle. It's also nice because I'm able to gain muscle memory by reaching the same way to same spot regardless if shooting rifle or shotgun. Have not tried the 6 round holder but probably would work the same. Both alum and magpul 20-30 round mags fit. All in all one purchase for two jobs. Found out on accident when replacing empty on my back left side. Didn't realize until later when I removed the belt!
cheep, but works well(13.11.2012)
If money is not an issue, go with AP customs shell holder. But these do work. From a craftsmanship standpoint, I don't like the shims, nor the way the are attached using velcro pasties. However, the velcro and the shims do hold my 2 3/4 shells in place, and the "give" in the velcro acts as a buffer to reduce rattleing. While made of plastic, they are durable and have held up well to my use and abuse. (i have them mounted on the front of my competition belt and they often get slammed when i drop to prone) all said and done, a good product at a reasonable price.
12 GA Speed Stripper(12.02.2014)
Rattles when carrying. Fixed by shimming the bottom. Not bad for the price. Better than any expanding loop holders. Will be purchasing another.
Solid Product(13.07.2009)
Works as advertised. These shell holders fit tight to body and hold shells with enough force that running will not dislodge them. Great for 3-Gun competition.
Good 4 play... not so much for tactical(18.12.2009)
Okay, works really well for what it's designed to do--think three gun--BUT be warned that it rattles when you move, so I wouldn't exactly recommend this for Ninja work, y'know?
Great Product(29.06.2011)
Product worked well during tactical traiing class. Was used to hold slug loads in one and 00 buck in second. tactical load changes were a natural movement with the two strippers centered on the front of the booy. Held tigntly to belt and were not too unconfortable when going prown. Never lost a rouond during 6 hours of training. The only dificulty was getting it off, had to undue belt and pull through loop to remove.
Great Solution, Great Price, One Caviot(10.07.2012)
These are the quickest way to reload a shotgun, short of using a tube loader. The six shot model is the one to get if you are only going to carry one for LEA or home defense. The only problem I personally have with the six shot model is that it sits high enough on the belt to intruded into my significant "spare tire" area. No big deal for Home Defense, and no big deal for those who don't carry around a months worth of survival energy in their waistline. For tactical sport shooting, due to my size issue, I prefer to carry a few of the 4-shot model instead, which don't pinch my belly as much, and have the added benefit of holding the exact maximum number of shells that can be held in the hand at one time (comfortably) to reload, as well as the exact number of shells that can be reloaded after a 3-shot string, starting from an empty chamber (in other words, no counting required, just grab all the shells from the carrier and load them). This must be why the 4-shot models are a bit pricer than the six-shot model... those darn tactical shooters are driving the price of the 4-shot models up!
Oh, another benefit of the CCW product, is the HD spring clip they use as a belt attachment... it is mongo strong, yet quick to slip over just about any kind of belt or belt-less solution... you could wear these on your swim suit or probably even underwear and it wouldn't fall off, yet fits over a LEO pistol belt just fine too!
